Returns

Eligibility for Returns

You have 30 calendar days from the date you receive your item to request a return. To be eligible for a return, your item must meet the following conditions:

  • The item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it
  • The item must be in its original packaging with all tags attached
  • You must provide proof of purchase (order number or receipt)
  • The item must not be a non-returnable product (see exclusions below)

Non-Returnable Items

The following items cannot be returned:

  • Gift cards
  • Downloadable software or digital products
  • Perishable goods
  • Intimate or sanitary goods
  • Hazardous materials or flammable liquids
  • Custom or personalized items
  • Sale or clearance items (unless defective)

How to Initiate a Return

To start a return, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact Us: Email us at support@slatevi.com or call +1 (404) 452-5584 within 30 days of receiving your order
  2. Provide Details: Include your order number, the item(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return
  3. Wait for Approval: We will review your request and respond within 24-48 hours with return instructions
  4. Ship the Item: Once approved, carefully package the item(s) and ship them to the address we provide

Return Shipping

Customers are responsible for paying their own shipping costs for returning items. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund (if we provided a prepaid label).

We recommend using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We cannot guarantee that we will receive your returned item, and we are not responsible for items lost or damaged during return shipping.

Defective or Damaged Items

If you receive a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately at support@slatevi.com with:

  • Your order number
  • Photos of the defective or damaged item
  • A description of the issue

For defective or damaged items, we will provide a prepaid return shipping label at no cost to you, and you will receive a full refund or replacement.

Refunds

Refund Processing

Once we receive your returned item, we will inspect it and notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If your return is approved:

  • Your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days
  • The refund will be issued to your original payment method
  • Depending on your financial institution, it may take an additional 2-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account

Partial Refunds: In some cases, only partial refunds may be granted:

  • Items showing obvious signs of use or wear
  • Items not in original condition or missing parts not due to our error
  • Items returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refund Amount

Your refund will include:

  • The purchase price of the returned item(s)
  • Original shipping costs (if the return is due to our error or a defective product)

Your refund will NOT include:

  • Return shipping costs (unless the item is defective or we made an error)
  • Original shipping costs (unless the entire order is returned due to our error)

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund within the expected timeframe:

  1. Check your bank account again
  2. Contact your credit card company - it may take time for the refund to officially post
  3. Contact your bank - there is often processing time before a refund is posted
  4. If you've done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at support@slatevi.com

Exchanges

Exchange Policy

We accept exchanges for defective or damaged items only. If you need to exchange an item for the same product:

  1. Contact us at support@slatevi.com within 30 days of receiving your order
  2. Follow our return process
  3. Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will send you a replacement

If you would like to exchange for a different item, you must return the original item for a refund and place a new order for the item you want.

Out of Stock Items

If the item you wish to exchange is out of stock, we will issue a full refund instead.

International Returns

For international orders, customers are responsible for:

  • Return shipping costs
  • Any customs duties or import taxes incurred during the return process

We cannot refund or reimburse international customs fees, duties, or taxes.

Restocking Fee

We do not charge a restocking fee for standard returns. However, we reserve the right to charge up to a 20% restocking fee for:

  • Items returned without prior authorization
  • Items returned after 30 days
  • Items not in original condition due to customer error

Cancellations

Order Cancellation

You may cancel your order before it has been shipped. To cancel:

If your order has not yet been processed or shipped: We will cancel it and issue a full refund within 5-7 business days.

If your order has already been shipped: You must refuse delivery or follow our standard return process once you receive the item.

Wrong or Missing Items

If you receive the wrong item or are missing items from your order:

  1. Contact us within 7 days of delivery at support@slatevi.com
  2. Provide your order number and describe the issue
  3. Include photos if applicable

We will resolve the issue by sending the correct item at no additional cost or issuing a full refund.

Customer Responsibilities

When returning items, you are responsible for:

  • Ensuring items are properly packaged to prevent damage during return shipping
  • Using a trackable shipping method
  • Retaining proof of shipment until your refund is processed

We are not liable for items lost or damaged during return transit unless we provided a prepaid return label.

For customers in the European Union or other regions with specific consumer protection laws, your statutory rights are not affected by this policy.
